Coronavirus, and the masks we don,
Remind us of Egyptian roses, gone:
How in their Spring of freedom they had found
Some dignity, and formed, from many, one.
But that one fractured, and we fractured here,
Out of one, many: No one wants to hear,
How all the lessons, once from history learned,
Have been forgotten, and replaced with fear.
